In-Memoriam/Tribute Donations by Mail/Fax

In-memoriam/tribute donations provide a meaningful way for family and friends to remember or honour their loved ones. If you would like to make an in-memoriam donation by mail or fax using a cheque/credit card, please download the in-memoriam mail/fax form, fill it out and return it.

If you wish, an attractive card will be sent to the recipient by the Canadian AIDS Society acknowledging the donation.

Remembering the Canadian AIDS Society in Your Will

Leave a lasting contribution in the fight against AIDS.
Remembering the Canadian AIDS Society in your will is a simple and inexpensive procedure.

You need only contact your lawyer with your intentions. Your lawyer will add a clause or a codicil to your current will, worded something like this:

“I give, devise and bequeath [amount/gift] to the Canadian AIDS Society, having its office at 170 Laurier Ave W, Suite 602, Ottawa, Ontario K1P 5V5 and I declare that the release of the person who professes to be the Executive Director or other proper officer for the time being of the Canadian AIDS Society shall be a sufficient discharge thereof.”

You can also specify if you wish the contribution to be dedicated for a particular program, for example: scholarships for people with HIV to attend the annual People Living With HIV/AIDS Forum (or similar), or for projects centred around youth, women, housing, etc…
